It was fifty years ago that an ambitious entrepreneur, Mr. Rizwan Ullah, set up a company for manufacturing vegetable tanned leather for beltings to be used for machines in cotton mills. This Company, named M/s Belting Corporation, did great business and its activities expanded.

In 1980, this entrepreneur went a step further and started chrome tanning and set up another unit for manufacturing Cow and Buff Calf leather for shoes for the domestic market.

In 1987, Homera Tanning Industries (P) Ltd. was set up. And today, the same industrialist, Mr. Rizwan Ullah, is its Managing Director.
